Sawyer was born 18th February 1968 in Alabama, Jasper.
Sawyer's full name is "James "Sawyer" Ford". In season 5 5x8 - La Fleur.... Sawyer was called "La Fleur" in the episode because he was the leader of the security at the Dharma Initiative Barracks. In season 6 6x8 where Miles Straume is his partner in the police force.... Sawyer is called "Jim" in this episode or "boss".
Sawyer was 8 years old when his parents were both killed in cold blood. He was hiding under his bed when it happened, hearing his Mother being shot by the man who done it. Sawyer had seen the person shot himself on his bed that very night too.
The man who had killed Sawyer was also called Sawyer but Sawyer hadn't adopted the name Sawyer yet for himself because he was still called "James Ford". The real Sawyer had slept with Mary and claimed to have taken her outta Alabama. Also he was swindling the family outta their savings.
Sawyer's parents before they died were called "Warren Ford" who was the Father of Sawyer and "Mary Ford" who was his Mother. Sawyer also had an Uncle called "Doug" which he had to stay with once his parents had been killed.
At the funeral of his parents death.... Sawyer was beginning to write a letter to the real Sawyer to say that he'll find him one day and he'll get him for what he'd done to his parents. Of course James Uncle didn't want the letter to be written and stopped this from happening but James would write it anyway.
Whilst doing the letter.... Sawyer saw a stranger coming up to him with a new pen, since his ran outta ink. The stranger was Jacob who was the protector of an island but James didn't know this.
Sawyer didn't like high school very much when he was 19 in ninth grade he dropped out and fell in dept with $6.000.
Sawyer went to prison later on in life which he didn't like at all and spent seven years for his sentence. This was because Sawyer tried to swindle a couple out of £160.000 and when he saw the couples Son.... He had to call the deal off because he didn't want them to go through what he had.
A woman called Cassidy took hold of the trick and wanted to try it out for herself so she became Sawyer's apprentice. Of course the more cons the two did the more threatening it became for Cassidy.
Sawyer and Cassidy shared a love in their life and whilst in prison.... Cassidy brought a photo of a baby called "Clementine" which was hers and Sawyer's baby girl.
Sawyer didn't want anything to do with Clementine so he left Cassidy to go home.
How Sawyer got outta prison was helping another fellow prisoner. He did this by telling the warden where the stolen money was. Sawyer then made an account for Clementine in a bank.
After Sawyer's released.... He and Hibbs started on a job called "The Tampa Job" but this didn't work out for Sawyer.
Hibbs mentioned that "Frank Duckett" lived in Sydney and claimed to be the real Sawyer. Sawyer traveled to Australia to meet this man and to shoot him in cold blood.
Sawyer then went into a bar and met "Christian Shepard" who was Jack's Father and a doctor. Both men had a few drinks together in the bar before Sawyer had to leave again to return to kill Duckett.
By this time Sawyer had adopted the name "Sawyer" for himself now.
Later on.... Sawyer got into a bar fight and attacked the Minster of agriculture, fishing and forestry. This led Sawyer in going back to the police station and he was given a flight ticket to go on "Oceanic 815" before being taken away.
On the island.... Sawyer was a hoarder. Taking what he needed for himself to survive on his own without any help from nobody.
Sawyer hoarded medication, drugs, guns and books. Pretty much anythings that interested him really.
Sawyer had a good relationship with Kate, even though sometimes it would be a bad one.
Kate and Sawyer soon found love on the island in season 3 but in season 4 the relationship changed to Juliet.
Kate was only a girlfriend to Sawyer really and Juliet was the real deal. Sawyer and Juliet stayed together till Juliet had an accident with the hatch that wasn't yet built. She was sucked down into it by chains and Sawyer was so upset about it. Luckily Juliet was soon found underneath the rubble and had her last few words to say to Sawyer.
Of course.... Sawyer and Juliet see each other in the flash sideways and then go though into heaven together at the church but that's that.
